This installation/performance piece is part of the ongoing project, Clouds | Knowledge, that explores the visual imagery of clouds as a symbol of knowledge in contemporary life.
All My Thoughts Live In the Air is 33 cloud sculptures, each mounted on a stick. The clouds are a reference to the idea that so much of our thoughts, knowledge, information exist in the ethereal atmosphere of the internet.
The cloud sculptures can be installed in a gallery setting using flower pots filled with gravel and suspended from the ceiling.
The original intention of the cloud sculptures was as a parade where each cloud was carried by a person. The group would march through the streets as a sort of silent protest of nothing or parade of art.
